What to do if you have been EXPOSED to someone with COVID-19
Step 1: MASK UP Wear a well-fitted mask anytime you are around other people.
Step 2: MONITOR FOR SYMPTOMS If you develop symptoms, test as soon as possible. See “COVID-19 Testing” below.
Step 3: TEST If you have no symptoms, continue to mask and test 3-5 days after your last exposure. If you test negative, continue to take precautions (masking around others) through day 10. If you test positive, see “What to do if you test positive for COVID-19” below.
What to do if you have SYMPTOMS of COVID-19
Step 1: ISOLATE Stay home and separate from others following isolation guidelines from the CDC. Wear a well-fitted mask while around other people.
Step 2: TEST See “COVID-19 Testing” below.
Step 3: CALL US If you test positive, please see “What to do if you test positive for COVID-19” below.
What to do if you TEST POSITIVE for COVID-19
Step 1: ISOLATE Stay home and separate from others following isolation guidelines from the CDC. Wear a well-fitted mask while around other people.
Step 2: CALL US If you test positive, please get in touch with your medical provider as soon as possible. Call West County Health Centers at our general line (707) 824 – 3391.
Step 3: TREATMENT Talk with your medical provider about getting treatment for COVID-19. Treatments are available that can reduce your chances of serious illness, hospitalization, and death and they may even decrease chances of long covid. Treatments must be started as soon as possible after you develop symptoms, so call as soon as possible!
COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 Testing
Home COVID tests are typically available at pharmacies. Your health center may have tests available as well, please check in for availability.

COVID-19 Treatment
If you have symptoms or test positive for COVID and are more likely to get sick, please ask your medical provider about getting a prescription for medication that could help. Treatments are best when started as soon as possible, so call as soon as you have symptoms or test positive. Our general line is (707)824-3391.
